Legoland Florida Heliport

The heliport's closure was a direct consequence of the permanent closure of the Cypress Gardens Adventure Park, which it served. The park ceased operations on September 23, 2009, due to economic reasons. When Merlin Entertainments purchased the site to redevelop it into Legoland Florida (which opened in 2011), the heliport facility was not retained and the land was repurposed for the new theme park's layout.

The site of the former heliport has been fully integrated into the Legoland Florida Resort. There is no remaining physical evidence of a helipad or any associated aviation facilities. The land is used exclusively for theme park operations.

The facility was a small, private heliport located on the grounds of the Cypress Gardens theme park. Its primary function was to support commercial sightseeing operations, offering helicopter tours to park visitors over the famous botanical gardens, the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes, and the park's attractions. It was not a public transportation hub and primarily served a tourism and recreational purpose. There are no known plans or prospects for reopening a heliport at this specific location.
