Several private shuttle, limo, and taxi companies serve the airport, such as Telluride Express and Mountain Limo. On-demand service is very limited, so it is strongly recommended to make advance reservations for ground transportation before your arrival.
Hertz and National/Alamo have rental car counters located inside the airport terminal. Due to the airport's small size and high demand, booking a vehicle well in advance is essential as availability can be extremely limited.
There is no direct public bus or gondola service from the Telluride Regional Airport terminal. Travelers must take a pre-booked shuttle, taxi, or rental car to get to the Town of Telluride or Mountain Village, where they can then access the free local transit systems (the Galloping Goose bus and the Gondola).
