Taxis are available outside Door 14 at Terminal 1 and Door 12 at Terminal 2. The service is regulated by the Metropolitan Taxicab Commission. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft also operate from designated zones: Terminal 1 pick-up is at Door 6 (Ticketing Level) and Terminal 2 pick-up is at Door 12.
The airport's rental car facility is located off-site. Free, 24-hour shuttle buses transport passengers to the facility. Shuttles pick up passengers outside Door 17 at Terminal 1 and Door 12 at Terminal 2. Major companies including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National are available.
The MetroLink light rail system provides direct service from both terminals to downtown St. Louis, Clayton, the Central West End, and other regional destinations. The Terminal 1 station is located on the upper level, east of the ticketing counters. The Terminal 2 station is accessible through the parking garage. It is an affordable and convenient option for reaching many parts of the city.
