Aroostook Taxi is the primary local service provider. It is highly recommended to call in advance to arrange for a pickup, as taxis may not be waiting on-site at the terminal for all arriving flights.
Rental cars are available on-site at the airport terminal. The primary agencies are Avis and Hertz. Due to limited vehicle availability, it is strongly advised to make a reservation in advance of your arrival.
There is no direct public bus or shuttle service that connects to the Presque Isle International Airport terminal. The regional provider is the Aroostook Regional Transportation System (ARTS), but travelers would need to use a taxi to connect to its nearest service points.
No problems with Customs guys. Called 207-473-7474, 2 hrs beforehand, and they were waiting for me at the GA Terminal (not the Passenger terminal). There is no courtesy car, but apparently lots of car rental companies are handy.
