The rental car facility is located on the first level of the parking garage, which is connected to the terminal by a covered skywalk. On-site rental agencies include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, and National.
Public transit is provided by Capital Area Transit (CAT). Bus Route 7 connects the airport with downtown Harrisburg and the Middletown Amtrak station. The bus stop is located on the curb outside the baggage claim area. Check the CAT website for current schedules and fares.

We sat on our plane for over an hour waiting for the truck to come and de-ice our plane then it ran out of de-icer and didn’t com back for over another hour! We were not updated and why is there not more support to de-ice planes? This is not good practice, customer service or acceptable for us to have to sit here for over 2 hours. I personally had to try to rearrange my transportation from the airport as I had a previously scheduled van pick up. Everyone is very frustrated.
The airport has an $8 landing fee for light piston aircraft, but the FBO has reasonably good gas prices ($5.20/gallon on 12 May 2008).
