Taxis are available on Level 1 (Ground Transportation) on both the A-Side and B-Side of the Main Terminal. Fares are determined by the meter. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft pick up passengers from the Arrivals Curb on Level 2.
On-airport rental car companies are conveniently located on Level 1 (Ground Transportation) of the Main Terminal. Major brands include Alamo, Avis, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Sixt. Many off-airport rental agencies are also available via complimentary shuttle bus services.
Public transit options include Lynx buses and the Brightline train. The local Lynx bus service connects the airport to Downtown Orlando and other popular areas from Level 1, A-Side. The Brightline high-speed train, located in Terminal C, provides direct service to South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach). A Lynx bus connection is required to reach the local SunRail commuter train station.
Not too bad for TSA
Another one of those airporst many folks wonder, "where did they get that designator from"? Well this is another of those former USAF bases, originally McCoy AFB named after Colonel Michael NW McCoy. Many fly here for Disney World but I always went through here on my way to The Cape or Patrick AFB on comm projects, large and small.
