Several local taxi companies serve the airport, with vehicles available outside the terminal near the baggage claim area. Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are also permitted to operate for pickups and drop-offs.
Rental car counters for major agencies including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, and National are located inside the terminal building, directly across from the baggage claim carousels.
There is no direct public bus or train service to the MBS International Airport terminal. Travelers must use a taxi, rideshare, or rental car to connect to public transit systems in the surrounding cities of Midland, Bay City, or Saginaw.
This was originally called the Tri Cities Airport, but, unusually, it has taken its FAA and IATA code "MBS" (the first letter of each of the cities) right into its official name.
Refueled here on the way to Oshkosh. They had free hotdogs, which I think is why my fellow club members chose it.
