Taxis, including companies like Ithaca Dispatch, are typically available outside the terminal to meet arriving flights. Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft also operate at the airport.
Rental car counters are located inside the terminal building near baggage claim. Agencies available on-site include Avis, Budget, Hertz, and National/Enterprise. Advance reservations are highly recommended.
Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) provides public bus service. Route 32 connects the airport directly with Cornell University and Downtown Ithaca. The bus stop is located just outside the terminal.
I fly here often and it's been a pleasant experience each time. Taughannock Aviation (pronounced T'gay-nuk) staff are friendly, although I was surprised to see the fuel prices as high as they were ($5.22 on 7/21/07). This airport is very busy during races at Watkins Glen, so check for overnight tiedown availability before you go.
