Local taxi and shuttle services are available for transportation to the nearby town of Tusayan and various locations within the Grand Canyon South Rim. It is highly recommended to make advance reservations, especially during peak season.
Avis Car Rental operates an office on-site at the airport terminal. Renting a car provides the greatest flexibility for exploring the park and surrounding areas. Due to limited vehicle availability, booking well in advance is essential.
There is no direct public transit, such as a city bus or train, that serves the airport. To connect with the free National Park Service (NPS) shuttle bus system that operates throughout the South Rim, travelers must first take a taxi, pre-booked shuttle, or rental car from the airport to a stop within the park.
You should probably contact Scenic Airlines http://www.scenic.com/ as they seem to be the only company operating into this airport. They appear to be a tour company rather than a simple airline.
How can I get a list of flights and other information of incoming flights (so I can book a flight if possible) from Las Vegas, or Flagstaff? I travel from a larger city (Balt) that has direct connection to this airport.
