Taxi services and rideshare companies like Uber and Lyft are readily available. The designated pickup area is located on the ground level curb just outside of the baggage claim doors. Taxis provide service to Panama City Beach, Panama City, and the surrounding areas.
Rental car counters are conveniently located inside the terminal in the baggage claim area. Companies operating on-site include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty. The rental car lot is a short walk from the terminal building.
There is no direct public bus service connecting to the airport. However, numerous private shuttle companies and van services offer pre-arranged or on-demand transportation to hotels, resorts, and other local destinations. Some hotels and resorts also provide their own complimentary or paid shuttle services for guests.
This new airport has already replaced KPFN (Panama City-Bay County International Airport) for scheduled airline service, and will take over general aviation as well when KPFN closes.
