Taxis are available 24/7 on the curb directly outside the baggage claim area. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft also operate from the airport, with a designated pickup area on the outer commercial curb, one lane across from the taxi stand.
The Rental Car Pavilion is conveniently located at the end of the terminal, just a short walk past baggage claim. On-site companies include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National. No shuttle is required to reach the rental car counters.
Public bus service is provided by the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA). The bus stop is located on the outer curb outside the baggage claim area. Route 11 (Dorchester/Airport) and the Route 4 NASH Express connect the airport to downtown Charleston and North Charleston.
Always used Atlantic Aviation... great service. Call ahead to reserve one of their crew cars. Plenty of ramp pace -- overnight parking free if you purchase fuel.
