Taxis are readily available and located on the ground level of the terminal, just outside the baggage claim area. Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft also operate at BTR, with designated pick-up areas outside the terminal.
Rental car counters are conveniently located on the ground floor of the terminal building, a short walk from the baggage claim carousels. Major on-site companies include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National.
The Capital Area Transit System (CATS) provides public bus service to and from the airport. Route 103 (Airport/Scotlandville) connects the airport to downtown Baton Rouge. The bus stop is located outside the terminal. Service frequency is limited, so it is advisable to check the latest schedule on the CATS website.
