Taxi services are readily available at the ground transportation area on the lower level, just outside of the Terminal A baggage claim. A dispatcher is on-site to assist passengers in finding a cab. Various local taxi companies serve the airport.
A consolidated rental car facility is located a short distance from the terminal. Free shuttle buses operate continuously between the terminal (look for pick-up signs outside baggage claim) and the rental car center. Major companies including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National are located here.
CTtransit operates the "Bradley Flyer" bus route (Route 24), which provides express service between the airport and downtown Hartford, including connections to CTfastrak and the Hartford Union Station (for Amtrak and CTrail). The bus stop is located at the outer curb outside of Terminal A.
