Taxis are available on the ground level of the main terminal, outside baggage claim. Companies include ATX Co-op Taxi and Yellow Cab. Ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft have a designated pickup area on the ground level of the Red Garage, accessible via a covered walkway.
The Rental Car Facility is a separate building serviced by free, 24/7 shuttles. Shuttles pick up passengers on the lower level (arrivals) outside baggage claim. All major rental companies (Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, etc.) are located in this facility.
Public transit is provided by Capital Metro. The high-frequency Route 20 bus connects the airport directly to downtown Austin and the University of Texas area, operating seven days a week. The bus stop is located on the lower level (arrivals) near the blue columns.
